Dirigible Bomber R.A.S. Guaymas (1897)

Designed by the Ohio Balloon and Aerial Craft Works for a US Aerial Navy Dirigible contract that never materialized, the Guaymas was eagerly purchased by the Sonoran Government. Sonora is in top-level negotiations with O.B.&A.about licensing production of the Dirigible to Azul y Blanco - Sonoran Lines' Shipbuilding division at Hermosillo. Some benefits of the craft include the ability to change payloads easily. The Guaymas can mount rockets, bombs or aerial torpedoes with equal facility. The cargo bay can even be modified (theoretically) to carry a flight of three bombers or six fighters.
