The Aerial Fortress concept has gained popularity amongst some Aeronaval circles in Europe and abroad. For smaller nations like Sonora it becomes even more promising when you consider that a considerable amount of armor and payload may be carried if you discard mobility and speed. The 3 de Noviembre and her sister ships 18 de Enerio and 8 de Mayo are Sonoran designed and built and two more have been exported to Russia. Aerial Fortresses are usually deployed at criticcal locations such as Skydocks, mines, factories or cities.
